I got the idea of this story from Korean superstition. People have often seen many different images in the moon when they view it. Some people say they can see cheese while others see faces. In my Korean culture, we see rabbits pounding rice in a mortar on the moon. The inspiration for ‘Rabbit Moon’ started with this basic idea.

Betweener
Betweener Project’ is a stories about loneliness and alienation that is derived from relationships, focusing on a character I call ‘Betweener’. ‘Betweener’ is a character that I created to express the two feelings. As the name suggests, Betweener doesn’t belong anywhere. It’s someone who hasn’t made decisions yet. Different from other characters in my work, ‘Betweener’ has no gender, no age, and no friends. It is the image of myself and others constantly communicating loneliness and a desire for belonging via the internet these days.
