Hello!!

Jean Kim is an author-illustrator and designer based in San Francisco & Korea. She earned both her BFA and MFA infine art and graphic design in Korea, as well as an MFA in children's book illustration from the Academy of Art University. She is a member of SCBWI and was a recipient of the 2015 Portfolio Showcase Honor. Her recent works include her author-illustrator debut RABBIT MOON (Arthur A. Levine Books) and art for WIDE-AWAKE BEAR by Pat Zietlow Miller (HarperCollins Children's Books).

Jean dreams of creating children's books that both adults and children can enjoy. When she is not painting, she can be found in the park with her friends, where she's collecting story ideas... even if it looks like she is just chasing puppies.
